Playful Paper Illustrations by HuskMitNavn

Anton Berg, a Copenhagen-based artist, best known for the name HuskMitNavn (which means ‘remember my name’ in Danish), likes to create whimsical paper illustrations. He usually creates his art on the spot, without a lot of sketching, just draws what comes into mind and gets out. His illustrations make a clever use of the paper medium, by folding and adding additional layers to the drawings. At a first glance you don’t always ‘get’ the twist, but after a few seconds the additive meaning is revealed and you get to enjoy the playfulness of his creation.

HuskMitNavn also did a lot of graffiti and T-shirt design, which opened a lot doors for him. He likes the fact that it is a fast medium, with a bold statement. Creating art with a bold statement is something he really loves doing.
