Watercolor Eye Illustrations by Jone Bengoa

Watercolor Eye Illustrations by Jone Bengoa

You can tell a lot about a person by looking at his eyes. When i came across the watercolor eye illustrations of Jone Bengoa, i was hypnotized! It caught my attention, and i simply couldn’t look a away from it, the illustrations are the sheer proof that ‘the eyes are the window to the soul’. Her water color render technique is really impressive.

Bengoa, although young in age (19), is able to create highly realistic, yet minimalistic, illustrations of the human eyes, that captivate an enormous amount of emotion in them. You can easily imagine the emotion that runs within the painted subject, fear, anger, sadness, all the spectrum of emotions can be found in her illustrations. Even the dripping effect of color adds to the experience that the creation is dynamic and alive.

I’m fairly confident that we will hear from her again in the future. You can check out some more of her work in deviantart page, or if you wish to support her work, you can buy one of her creations in her online store.
